Warning: This page addresses the recent launch of the a new women’s football
team in KC, called the Diatribe by our fans, and all the drama that the owner of the
team brought to the Kansas City Storm and women's football the last couple of
years and with the launch of the new team. If this it not what you’re looking for

PLEASE excuse the following drama, but the good news is, the people responsible
are now affiliated with the Diatribe - the STORM is looking forward to a GREAT
2008!!!!
Many would agree, Mindy White has been a disruptive force to women’s football in
Kansas City for two years. Every one of the Storm’s rules within the Code of
Conduct were written in response to Mindy White’s behaviors. Most disappointing,
although not surprising, are her and her team's behaviors when starting her team
such as:
- negativism when announcing the launch of her team;
- the action of coming to a Storm event and attempting to recruit players;
- apparently behind a fraudulent email expressing interest in joining the Storm
to gain access to Storm plans, announcements and our rookie list and email
addresses.
Since the launch of the Diatribe, I'm been asked a lot of questions. Rather than
writing email after email, the facts are captured on this series of web pages that I
can easily reference. This also ensures everyone gets a consistent, accurate
message.
Finances
The Last Game of the Season - Nance did not "cancel" it.
The Play Off Forfeit - A sponsor came forward, resolving the money issue. Not
enough people signed up to go. League minumum was 15. We had 14. Mindy did
not sign up to go.
