A summary and final team email about the playoffs:
- The players were in arrears about $1820 in player fees. They should never have
been playing without being current except Coach Ed said he would personally
guarantee that they would do fund raisers to make the money. He said he would
pay any gap between what they did in fundraising and the $1820. He made this
committment to me prior to our bye week, saying they were going to fundraise
during that week. Instead of having a fundraiser - Mindy hosted a party at her
house.
- Our last home game, our last money making opportunity was a forfeit, Shreveport
could not make the trip to KC.
- I asked Coach Ed for the $1820 to get us to Detroit. He refused.
- Then a sponsor came forward with $1500 for travel. Laura Leeds (a player) tried
for several days to get girls to commit to go to the game. As girls signed up, she
sent an email with the updated list (this is the last one sent). The league minimum
to play is 15. Coach Ed said he wouldn't coach unless 20 signed up to go.
As you can see, we could have gone to the playoffs but not enough girls signed up
to play. As you can see Mindy did not sign up to go.
Had Mindy signed up, we would have had 15 - enough to play. But she did not.
This is typical Mindy. She's the problem, or at least part of it - and yet she
continues to complain about the outcome.

Assume all the $ issues somehow got settled, and we had at least 20 people going,
and IWFL&Detroit allowed, and we had at least a couple coaches?
