December 13 - The Storm is special guest at the first ever
Kansas City Spartans basketball game.
November 24 - The Storm announces partnership with the
Athletic Club of Overland Park.
November 22 - Storm hosts a bowling outing and silent auction
that was attended by Sam Lacy, former Kansas City King
basketball player. The team raised almost $1,000.
November 15 - Team Smile Breakfast
November 8-9 - Storm partners with the KC Brigade and 103
the Jamz to bring the "Let if Fly" flag football tournament to KC.
October 25 - Will Shields Safehome Flag Football Tournament
October 18 - Camp Fire Candy Kick Off
October-November - Catherine Masters of the NWFA sells the
league to select owners. The first owner's meeting of the new
league is held in Chicago.
September-October - Rookie Camp is held at the Derrick
Thomas Academy
